Roden 435 - Airco De Havilland DH9C
D.H.9C - passenger modification of the famous World War I bomber. Apart from the pilot the plane was able to transport three passengers, who sat in the former gunners cockpit and also where the bomb bay had been located. The planes werent serially produced, but converted from various versions of the bomber by subcontractors. The D.H.9C was widely used not only in the territory of Great Britain, but also in the British Empires dominions (Canada, Australia, South Africa, and India). Furthermore, some planes of this type were bought by the new Dutch company KLM. The last examples of this type were used for passenger transportation at the end of the 1920s, and for other purposes, until the mid-1930s.
