Description

Z scale model locomotive (1/220) of the French SNCF CC6500 serie in FRET livery, number CC6506.

Injection plastic molded body with painted and fine detailed decoration (tap on pictures to zoom on the 3D printed prototype).

Metal chassis for more traction power even with long train.

Fine functional plastic pantographs.

Analog version. New electronic board ready to be convert later to DCC with optional DH05C decoder kit.

All of our models are equipped with last technologies for a smooth, reliable and silent running :

custom coreless motor, dual flywheels and both trucks motorized,
specific chassis design and high precision micromechanics,
blackened metal wheels,
front and back lights with LED (red and white warm) - reversible.

About the real one :

The SNCF Class CC 6500 is a class of 1.5 kV DC electric locomotives. The CC 6500 was, together with the CC 40100 [fr] and diesel CC 72000, the first generation of the Nez Cassé family of locomotives and designed for hauling express trains with speeds up to 200 km/h (124 mph) but also used for heavy freight trains. Among the trains they hauled in their first years of service were the SNCF flagship train Le Mistral and Trans Europ Express trains Aquitaine, Le Capitole and lÉtendard.
